Written by Shadowdancer sometime in February 1997. Mob sounds are strings that are echoed to the room the mob is in at a percent chance. a mob with the sound X 30 Hello there sonny~ would echo "Hello there sonny" to the room it is in at a 30 percent chance every update. An update is several times a tick so keep the percentages low (20- is good) You may have up to three mob sounds per mob (more than three WILL NOT crash the mud, but only the first 2 and last will ever get used) Stack the percentages in decreasing order IE (20 10 5). syntax: at the end of the mob defintion: X ~ IE X 20 Hello there sonny~ The string can have the act variables in it. $n for name. $e for he,she,it. $m him, her,it $s his, her, its the variable pertains to the mob only. This is a simpler way to have the mob echo something rather than writing a mobprog to do it. The X's can be intermingled with M's (for mobprogs) and F's (for deflags) at the end of the mob definition.
