About Our Dragon Wagon: A Mobile Learning Lab

At Dimensions, students and parents have access to the Dragon Wagon mobile learning lab. The learning lab serves as a mobile library and outdoor learning venue for students on a field trip, a pop-up lab for STEAM, or maker space activities at a learning center site. The lab hosts parent workshops and allows our learning community to meet in a variety of unique settings.

For questions about our mobile learning lab, please contact Katie Novacek at knovacek@dimensions.org.

Collaboration Centers

Our collaboration centers are not site-based schools, but function as a hub for our learning community to provide resources to support student independent study, and respective student personalized learning plans.  This is accomplished by providing specialized student support, enrichment offerings, and special events, as well as facilitating space for parent meetings, a curriculum resource library, special education services, and special events.

The analogy of a gym helps to illustrate and understand a Dimensions Collaboration Center:

The DCS gym is available for students to use in order to flex their learning muscle to build and enhance their overall strength and agility around their learning goals.

Specialized trainers and training are available for students and are separated into TK-2, 3-5, 6-8, and High School multigrade groupings to support specific academic foundation areas such as language arts, math, science, and social studies.  Equipment and resources are available to facilitate learning experiences that are not generally readily available.   Students can access equipment such as 3D printers, makers space, music equipment, art studio, science labs, etc.  The gym also facilitates access to social engagement opportunities that promote healthy social and emotional development such as student-led book clubs, student leadership, and yearbook.
